Scentevents recently designed a CUSTOM FRAGRANCE BAR for the Dewar’s Luxury Experience Pre Golden Globes Event at the new SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills CA.
The fragrance bar replicated an actual creative perfume laboratory experience. Attendees learned about and smelled fragrances ingredients commonly used by master perfumers such as: Jasmine, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Mandarin, Lavender, Lemongrass, Spearmint, Sage Clary, Tobacco, Vanilla, Vetivert and many other exotic materials. They learned how to describe fragrances using the vocabulary of perfumers: “top notes, heart notes and base or finish notes”.
The next step was for the guest to actually formulate their own Custom Signature Scent. Master Perfumer Chris Buccellato of Custom Essence and Neal Harris founder of Harris Fragrances and Scentevents assisted the guests to design their own signature fragrance. Once the fragrance formula was completed, approved and signed off by the formulator (the guest) it was then bottled. The formulator signed each individual bottle and took their custom scent to enjoy. The formulas are in safekeeping at Scentevents.
Scentevents can set up custom scent experiences for women, men and children’s products, or design a custom scent experience for the client’s needs and brand. Custom fragrance bars are great for intimate gatherings and unique corporate or client experiences.
